Bangkaru Ranger Programme

Created by award winning wildlife photographer Paul Hilton, this video takes you on a journey to Bangkaru Island. Bangkaru’s beaches are home to the largest nesting site for Green Sea Turtles in Western Indonesia, along with being an important nesting site for Leatherback and Hawksbill Turtles, and it’s primary rainforest is home to some of the worlds most endangered bird species. Ecosystem Impact runs a ranger programme which protects Bangkaru from illegal poaching activity.
